You can allow a wide variety of authorized users to access room status, alarms, alarm notification, and many other features directly from a web browser. For the end user there is nothing more to install. All you need is a standard browser like Internet Explorer® or Netscape® and the Watchdog Web address. |

 The Watchdog Web can be configured to allow access only to computers within your facility, or can allow access direct from the Internet.
If Watchdog Web is configured for Internet access, then an investigator can check conditions in study rooms from his home computer. Or an administrator can review high/low/average reports from their desktop computer. And a technician can acknowledge an alarm from a PC close at hand, rather than having to walk back to the central computer.
Watchdog Web is easy to use - all commands and operations are done within a standard browser window - the simple point and click interface that everyone is familiar with. Watchdog Web is platform independent - whether you are working from a Windows based PC, or an Apple Macintosh, or even a Linux system - you can access the system using any standard browser with an Internet connection.

Other Options for Remote Access
You can access the full features of the Watchdog V5 Central Computer across your network using the new remote access option.
With the Watchdog V5 Central Computer attached to your local area network, all you need is a Windows based PC on your desktop, and you can access the full functionality of the central computer right from your desktop. There is no loss of system functionality when the remote host is used, since you are actually controlling the central computer; all of the menus, functions, and settings are the same.
